Understand billing and plans

Plans control billing, usage limits, support level, and which AI bookkeeping skills are available.

Plans

LeedBooks has plans for different levels of bookkeeping support.

Core AI is for one business that wants the AI bookkeeping employee to review transactions, learn rules, and keep reports current.

Growth is for operators with more accounts, more activity, more users, or multiple entities.

Managed AI is for customers who want software plus more hands-on support.

Plans should match the amount of bookkeeping work

If the business has more accounts, more entities, more transactions, or deeper cleanup needs, it usually needs more than the smallest plan.

01
Core AI

The basic AI bookkeeping employee for one business.

02
Growth

More capacity, more users, more entities, and more advanced skills.

03
Managed AI

AI bookkeeping plus hands-on review and setup help.

Core AI trial

Core AI may be offered with a small trial charge and trial period.

The trial is meant to let you connect accounts, see the review workflow, and confirm that LeedBooks fits your business before the regular monthly plan begins.

If you abandon checkout before payment is completed, your workspace may not be fully active yet. Finish billing setup to activate the account.

The company name entered during signup is used to prepare the workspace after successful payment or trial activation.

Skills by plan

Plans can unlock different AI skills.

Skills are the specific abilities the AI employee can use. Examples include transaction review, rule suggestions, transfer detection, vendor cleanup, month-end review, reports, and tax-readiness work.

If a skill is locked, the app should make that clear. Locked skills are not errors. They show what can be unlocked by changing plans.

| Plan | Included skill areas | |---|---| | Core AI | Report analysis, rule proposals, payee alias cleanup, wildcard alias and rule setup, transaction edit proposals | | Growth | Everything in Core AI, plus bulk cleanup, transfer cleanup, duplicate detection, duplicate review proposals, bank sync health, owner/equity review, holding account review, rule consolidation review, unusual transaction review | | Managed AI | Everything in Growth, plus 1099 readiness, people/payee profile updates, and month-end close execution |

Invoices and payment methods

Billing settings are where admins manage plan details, checkout, payment method, invoices, and subscription status.

If payment fails, the account may need attention before continued use. Update the payment method from billing settings.

Changing plans

Change plans when your bookkeeping work changes.

Reasons to upgrade:

  • More connected accounts
  • More transaction volume
  • More users
  • Multiple entities
  • More advanced AI skills
  • Faster support needs
  • Hands-on onboarding or cleanup

If you are unsure, contact support before changing plans.

Managed AI

Managed AI is for businesses that want more help than software alone.

It can be useful when:

  • The books need cleanup before automation works well.
  • The business has many accounts or entities.
  • Reports need a human review rhythm.
  • Month-end close needs more structure.
  • The owner wants LeedBooks to handle more of the process.
